Job Summary:

Washington State University College of Nursing is seeking caring and committed nurses to work as full-time or part-time instructors in the nursing program on the Spokane and Yakima campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach nursing courses to students in the nursing program
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of the nursing program
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve nursing education

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in nursing or closely related field
  • Licensure or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
  • Previous experience as an educator or preceptor

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching nursing courses
  • Experience developing curriculum
  • Experience assessing student learning
