Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Production Machine Operator to join our team at Woodmont & Grandview Cabinetry. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for safely operating various machines and equipment involved in production.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications, ensuring compliance with established quality and safety standards.
  • Produce high-quality parts within established specifications and tolerances, meeting or exceeding production targets.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper setup and alignment, performing basic and routine adjustments and maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of units produced, including logs of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
  • Thorough understanding of production equipment and processes, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with the ability to learn new systems and tools as needed.
  • Understanding of and commitment to OSHA and environmental regulations, with the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or completion of a related apprenticeship program preferred.
  • At least one year of related experience required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and using tools, with frequent bending and stooping.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
