Job Title: Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our Consulting and Transformation team at K2 Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development of ServiceNow offerings to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop law firm operational workflows within the ServiceNow environment, working closely with the Consulting and Transformation team, key clients, and business priorities.
  • Assist the team and our clients in the delivery model and supporting ServiceNow initiatives focused on business modernization of the product and its sub-modules.
  • Design and deliver effective business and operating models to our clients spanning the full ServiceNow platform, leveraging law firm operational knowledge for successful implementations.
  • Implement and integrate various data sources to enable business workflows for law firms.
  • Implement reports and dashboards tuned to client key performance indicators.
  • Ensure quality client-ready technical documentation as required by each engagement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior developers on best practice approaches to implement required functionality involving technical leads as required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with software design and development.
  • Law firm operational experience, with a focus on ServiceNow development.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development, including core platform.
  • Experience working with Web technologies, including GlideScript, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, AngularJS, and CSS.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and participating in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Expertise in ServiceNow development, including UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Law firm or other professional services firm experience preferred.
  • Experience with ITSM, CMDB, ITAM, SAM, and/or ITOM.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification or any ServiceNow implementer certification.
  • One or more years of experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM and SAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and/or HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
