Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic CT procedures for a wide range of clinical indications, while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT procedures in an efficient manner, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain complex CT equipment, including scanners and related accessories.
  • Develop and implement protocols for CT procedures, including radiation safety and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, including explaining procedures and results to patients and families.
Requirements
  • Washington State Certification for Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT certification in CT
  • Current registration with ARRT
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current CPR validation
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathophysiology, and sterile techniques
  • Basic IV procedure and IV contrast administration
  • Ability to work with highly technical equipment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to lift equipment and assist in moving large patients
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in CT imaging and/or a minimum two years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Advanced ARRT certification in CT within 1 year of hire
