Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather goals and objectives, identify gaps, and develop differentiated solutions that meet mission needs.
  • Support enterprise-wide growth strategies and initiatives aimed at differentiation of services and delivery, increased competitiveness, and industry thought leadership.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and industry partners to understand mission needs and articulate capabilities.
  • Research and understand technology trends, particularly in the areas of agile software development, cloud technologies, and continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD).
  • Develop technical content for proposals, white papers, and related materials in support of government solicitations and conferences.
  • Represent Parsons at conferences, industry days, meetings with customers and industry partners, etc.
  • Perform product and capability demonstrations for customers and industry partners as needed.
  • Provide technical inputs and mission perspective to inform corporate strategy and investments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with technologies such as Agile software development, DevSecOps, containers, cloud migration, cloud-native technologies, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience designing, building, and delivering software solutions, preferably in the space domain awareness or space C2 mission areas.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native and microservice architecture concepts and principles.
  • Experience developing technology strategies and/or roadmaps.
  • Ability to innovate and provide thought leadership in software systems and architectures.
  • Ability to rapidly absorb technical information, extract pertinent information, incorporate it into higher-level technical approaches, and articulate those concepts in winning proposals.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent presentation skills; ability to confidently interact with executives, GOs, and other senior government leadership.
  • Ability to represent the company favorably, develop new clients, and negotiate with key members of other firms.
  • US Person with ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience with solutioning and proposal development for government solicitations in one or more of the following technical areas: enterprise software systems, cloud architectures, software factories, and systems integration.
  • Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, NiFi, Hadoop, AWS/C2S, Microsoft Azure.
  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
