Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transformer Technician to join our team at OTC Services, Inc. in Northern Ohio.

This is a unique opportunity to work with over 100 years of design and manufacturing experience in the transformer market.

As a Transformer Technician, you will be responsible for performing various manufacturing duties and interpreting engineering drawings to assemble coils in an efficient and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Duties: Perform tasks such as jacking core and coil assembly, installing units in oven or vacuum tank, cleaning, repairing or replacing LTCs, brazing leads, and fabricating bus-work.
  • Critical Thinking: Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Maintenance: Maintain clean facilities and equipment, ensuring a high-quality product and a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 2 years of manufacturing experience required; transformer manufacturing experience preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
