CDL A Instructor

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL A driver to join our team as an Instructor at 160 Driving Academy. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for teaching with your knowledge of commercial driving, helping students launch rewarding careers in trucking.

**Responsibilities:**

• Deliver comprehensive CDL A training to students, emphasizing safe and professional driving practices.
• Support students in preparing for the CDL exam, utilizing your expertise to ensure they feel confident and prepared.
• Maintain a local schedule with consistent hours, allowing you to be home daily without the need for overnight travel.

**Requirements:**

• A valid Indiana CDL Class A license with at least 24 months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience.
• A clean driving record, capable of passing a DOT physical and drug/alcohol tests.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and tracking student progress.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for safety and education.
