Deliver exceptional service to our residential mortgage clients and business associates through streamlined processes and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell loan products available through The Ladders.

Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients to build a strong referral network.

Conduct meetings with prospective clients in various settings, including their residences.

Engage with real estate professionals, financial advisors, and other potential referral sources to generate borrower leads.

Participate in marketing initiatives to support personal sales efforts.

Achieve monthly personal production targets.

Process mortgage loan applications and create compelling loan proposals:

Assess clients' needs and recommend suitable products.

Originate loans that align with The Ladders' program standards regarding amounts, rates, and terms.

Deliver a superior level of customer service:

Promptly and accurately address all client inquiries in a professional manner.


Gather all necessary information to facilitate timely loan processing, including credit reports, income verification, appraisals, and lien searches.

Analyze the data and provide insights as needed.

Assist applicants and resolve any issues that may arise during the application and settlement phases.

Stay updated on emerging trends within the mortgage sector.

Attend and contribute to scheduled meetings, training sessions, and professional development courses.

Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to licensed activities and adhere to The Ladders' Code of Conduct.

Key Stakeholders:

Internal Stakeholders:
Underwriting, Processing, Closing, Quality Assurance, Vendor Coordination, and Secondary Marketing.

External Stakeholder:
The Borrower(s)

Education and Experience Requirements:

Must meet state licensing qualifications in the regions where The Ladders operates; mortgage licensure necessitates a favorable credit score, absence of tax liens, and a clean criminal background check.

A minimum of one year of successful mortgage loan origination experience is required.

A two-year college degree is preferred (or equivalent experience).

Demonstrated sales acumen and leadership capabilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Ability to connect with individuals in a friendly and engaging manner.

Strong persuasive communication skills for sales.

A keen sense of responsibility for completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

Capacity to manage a fast-paced work environment.

Detail-oriented with a focus on productivity.

Sound decision-making skills to minimize errors.

Ability to delegate effectively while ensuring thorough follow-up.

Excellent verbal, written, listening, and organizational skills.

Basic computer proficiency.

Ability to work independently.
