Key Responsibilities- Assist nursing personnel in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning, draping, and maintaining a sterile field.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order and properly sterilized.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience, including passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear line of sight.
- Participate in the counting and verification of surgical instruments and supplies to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Assist with the breakdown and cleaning of the operating room, including restocking supplies and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting.
