Registered Nurse Oncology- Hematology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Oncology- Hematology at Novant Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will serve as a leader of the healthcare team, establishing a personalized relationship with patients and their support systems. You will collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- Minimum of one to two years of nursing experience, preferably in an oncology environment.
- Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) within 30 months of employment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
