Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Assistant to join our team at the Butler County Family YMCA. As a key member of our Preschool Program, you will play a vital role in fostering a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing the curriculum within established guidelines.
  • Support daily lesson and activity plans.
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment.
  • Supervise children, classroom, and activities.
  • Maintain program areas and adhere to program standards.
  • Attend and participate in program activities, staff meetings, and trainings.
  • Follow YMCA policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Previous experience related to childcare and child development.
  • CPR/Pediatric First Aid/AED Certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.

Working Environment & Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position include walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting. A valid email address and voicemail setup are required for onboarding processes.
