The Safety and Training Coordinator is a critical role within Dimar Manufacturing Corp, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive workplace safety programs. This position requires a strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols, as well as excellent communication and training skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Create and maintain a safe working environment by planning, implementing, and overseeing workplace safety protocols.
- Train Employees: Provide regular safety training sessions to ensure employees understand and adhere to company safety standards.
- Conduct Investigations: Investigate safety incidents and gather information to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure Compliance: Verify that employees consistently follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
- Review and Recommend Changes: Regularly review safety protocols and recommend changes to improve workplace safety.
- Education and Experience: A degree in occupational safety and health or 5+ years of experience in a safety-related field.
- Skills and Abilities: Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, computer literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
$60K-80K/year, with a sign-on bonus of $1200 and opportunities for professional growth and development.
