**Job Summary**

The Front Desk Clerk is a key member of the Tropicana Laughlin team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

  • Greet guests and determine if they have a reservation, then search the computer file and print out registration forms as needed.
  • Obtain signatures and identification, file a copy of the registration form, and retrieve it upon check-out.
  • Prepare keys for the assigned room and make decisions on room assignments based on guest requirements and preferences.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and refunds, and block rooms for groups, VIPs, sales, and casino departments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including being available for scheduled work and exhibiting the Family Style Service model at all times.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Qualifications**

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All employees must be knowledgeable about company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

**Education and/or Experience**

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Language Skills**

The ability to effectively communicate in English is essential.

**Mathematical Skills**

The individual must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

**Computer Skills**

A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
