Position Overview- Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
This role involves working three 12-hour shifts during the day, with hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The position includes a weekend rotation and holiday rotation, with no on-call requirements. Travelers may be required to float between various facilities as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
- Experience in Cardiac Telemetry is essential.
- Skills in management and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Proficient in peripheral line care and management, including PICC line management.
- Ability to titrate drips with a patient ratio of 1:5.
Important Notes:
- Floating may be required as needed.
