Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Transporter to join our team at Ascension Providence Rochester. As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Transport patients, specimens, and equipment to designated sites as requested.
  • Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Deliver equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department.
  • Greet and provide information and direction to patients and visitors.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
