Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC systems and accessories.
- Supervise Assistant Installation Technicians to ensure compliance with standards.
- Engage with customers to offer appropriate comfort solutions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to guarantee satisfaction.
- Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems according to company and manufacturer specifications.
- Design and fabricate ductwork and fittings as required, performing diagnostics as necessary.
- Complete installation documentation for accurate reporting and future reference.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their concerns and questions.
- Conduct start-ups on heating and cooling systems and related components.
- Manage the delivery and removal of equipment necessary for installation tasks.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of company property, vehicles, and tools.
- Maintain a safe working environment for the installation team.
- Ensure company vehicles are adequately stocked and manage inventory of necessary parts.
- Prioritize safety and quality in all tasks.
- Train apprentices in various installation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of verified experience in HVAC installation.
- Understanding of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
- Familiarity with residential ductwork layout and installation requirements.
- Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting HVAC systems.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Possession of necessary trade tools.
- Ability to document detailed job notes for customer accounts.
- Willingness to share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues.
- Open to new ideas and process improvements.
- Regular communication with dispatchers for job status updates.
- EPA and NATE certifications required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
