Job Summary

The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completes comprehensive assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain or rehabilitate patients with various respiratory illnesses and diseases.
  • Initiates therapies, maintains patient records, operates, checks, and assembles equipment.
  • Completes a variety of bedside treatments, including administering medications and performing respiratory procedures.
  • Provides in-services for nursing staff on a quarterly basis to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly documentation to track patient progress and outcomes.
  • Attends applicable Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings is highly desirable.
  • Follows established procedures and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Completes tracking, auditing, and caseload management to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • Licensed in the state in which practicing.
  • BLS certification.
Compensation

The salary for this position is $48 to $52 per hour.
