As an Administrative Nursing Supervisor at Jefferson Health, you will play a critical role in leading our nursing team and ensuring the highest quality patient care. This is a per diem position, allowing you to choose your schedule and work at your own pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight and leadership to our nursing team, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Facilitate patient movement, staffing, emergency management, and clinical coordination across all departments.
- Plan, lead, and coordinate the provision of quality care and service from a hospital-wide perspective.
- Act as a liaison for departments without onsite leadership during non-business hours.
- Collaborate with administrative directors and managers to provide leadership, consultation, and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of nursing experience, with critical care or ER experience preferred.
- BLS required, ACLS preferred.
- Professional/leadership certification preferred (e.g., CCRN, CEN, NE-BC).
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.

Conditions of Employment
Covid vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. Child Protective Services Act
As this position will require regular contact with children, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three are completed satisfactorily.
