The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking a talented clinician or clinician-scientist to join our team as a faculty member in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of clinicians, clinician-scientists, and staff dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with cancer and blood disorders.
About the Role
We are seeking a candidate with expertise in caring for children with hematologic malignancies, sarcomas, and embryonal tumors, as well as non-malignant disorders of the hematopoietic/immune/inflammatory system. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of clinical excellence, research productivity, and a commitment to teaching and mentorship.
Requirements
Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified/board-eligible in Hematology-Oncology. A strong background in clinical trials and research is highly desirable.
