Job Summary

RadNet is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
  • Ensuring proper dose of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
  • Starting intravenous lines or performing straight stick venipuncture for isotope injection.
  • Explaining test procedures and safety precautions to patients.
  • Monitoring patients' well-being during exams and recognizing patient discomfort or medical problems.
  • Maintaining a nuclear medicine information system for all patient dosing, calibration, receiving and disposition, and all regulatory reports required by the RAM license.

Requirements:

  • Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
  • Experience working in a high-volume setting.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • BLS/CPR certification.
