Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team at Bay Systems Consulting Inc. in a Docking Support role.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing electrical engineering support, procurement assistance, production oversight, root cause analysis and resolution, sustainment, and maintenance of all electrical ground support equipment (EGSE).

The scope of this task is limited to CLIN3, Task1 application of all EGSE specifically supporting assembly, preparation, operational & function testing, and test data collection & assessment of the docking capability for the Orion Artemis III CM/SM/CSM.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Engineering Support: Provide technical guidance and support for electrical engineering-related tasks, including design, development, testing, and validation of EGSE.
  • Procurement Assistance: Assist with procurement activities, including soliciting quotes, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts for EGSE-related components and services.
  • Production Oversight: Ensure that all EGSE are properly assembled, prepared, and tested to meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to EGSE performance, safety, or reliability.
  • Sustainment and Maintenance: Develop and implement strategies for long-term sustainment and maintenance of EGSE, including training, documentation, and spare parts management.

Benefits:

Bay Systems Consulting Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
