Job Overview

Hancock Claims Consultants Technicians is a leading provider of roof and property inspection services, working with insurance carriers and adjusters nationwide. We are seeking professional inspectors to join our dynamic field team.

As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, including steep and high roof damage assessments, exterior and interior damage evaluations, and underwriting property inspections.

We use technology to assess the extent of damage to a property and prevent further damage until permanent repairs can be completed. Our proven process ensures high-quality claims support from rapid catastrophe response to direct inspections.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Description

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Ability to safely navigate and inspect any type of roof, specifically steep and high roofs
  • Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Empathy when dealing with insureds
  • An entrepreneurial spirit

Requirements include:

  • Reliable truck or SUV with the ability to transport and carry at least a 32' ladder
  • Ability to complete inspection documentation via a Hancock approved device
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams
