Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Nexus HR Services. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients under orders from the referring physician, developing and implementing individualized Plans of Care, and supervising support staff to ensure quality of care and maximum productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs, and develop and implement treatment plans to address those needs.
  • Plan of Care Development: Design and implement individualized Plans of Care, taking into account the patient's age, needs, and goals.
  • Supervision and Education: Supervise and instruct support staff, including Rehabilitation Technicians, on treatment procedures and provide education to patients and families on home programs and discharge plans.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and other facility personnel to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, Master of Science degree, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Washington and/or California.
  • Skills and Experience: Demonstrated competency in identified areas of specialization, including training for age-specific groups, and excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards and requirements, and familiarity with one or more electronic medical records documentation systems.
