Electromechanical Technician Job Summary

Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace Inc. is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join our team in Johnstown, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electro-mech assembly operations on various assemblies related to the Remote Weapon Station and other product lines.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience assembling equipment in a production manufacturing environment. J-STD-001 Certification (Soldering) and IPC-620 Technician Certification are also required. The salary for this position is approximately $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain active certification of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001.
  • Perform electromechanical assembly operations using basic tools as well as special tooling.
  • Inspect and test assembled components for quality and accuracy.
