ECU Health Physicians, a leading academic health care system, is seeking a dynamic and academically oriented general surgeon to serve as Chief of the Division of General and Specialty Surgery. The successful candidate will lead a collaborative clinical, teaching, and research program consisting of experienced surgeons and a bariatric fellow.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, a national presence, and leadership experience in a matrixed healthcare environment. They will also have a broad knowledge of all aspects of complex general surgery and a clinical interest in a subspecialty area such as bariatric surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, or endocrine surgery.
