An outstanding Outpatient facility is seeking a skilled or newly graduated Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant to join their expanding team for a contract assignment.
The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant operates under the guidance of either Registered or Licensed Therapists. The role involves utilizing therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility and alleviate pain and disability resulting from various conditions. Techniques employed may include: massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin treatments, thermal packs, traction, ultrasound, and other prescribed exercises.
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Noon - 8 PM.
Qualifications include:
- Completion of an Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant or actively pursuing state licensure.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Deliver skilled therapeutic services in accordance with physician directives and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Therapist.
- Implement and adjust the patient's therapeutic plan under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Therapist.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient objectives.
