POSITION SUMMARY
The Landscaping and Grounds Care Specialist is essential in preserving the aesthetic appeal and upkeep of the grounds surrounding Bella Vista POA facilities. This role involves independent decision-making and close collaboration with the Grounds Maintenance Superintendent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts daily landscaping and grounds upkeep activities to maintain their visual appeal.
- Implements pest and disease management strategies as necessary.
- Executes seeding, fertilization, and mowing tasks.
- Engages in the planting and trimming of trees, shrubs, and floral arrangements.
- Operates a variety of machinery including mowers, tractors, and hedge trimmers.
- Utilizes heavy machinery such as trucks, trenchers, and loaders for various tasks.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
May supervise other personnel for designated projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this position, the candidate must effectively perform all essential functions. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent experience, the capability to obtain a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to meet job demands.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work environment may vary, potentially involving exposure to loud noises, wet conditions, and physical tasks such as lifting items up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to fulfill job responsibilities.
