Salary Range: $43,920 - $58,542

General Overview

In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing financial concepts that guide our financial planning and control efforts.

Supervision Structure

You will operate under broad supervision, potentially working independently on specific functions or programs, depending on the organizational structure.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

- Formulate, interpret, and implement financial strategies for effective planning and control.
- Conduct technical analyses to assess current and future financial performance.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data to provide recommendations for financial plans and forecasts.
- Perform economic research on investment opportunities, rates of return, and compliance with governmental regulations.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues on various projects.

Decision-Making Authority

You will choose from various methods and procedures to accomplish tasks while adhering to organizational policies.

Leadership Role

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, serving as a technical resource and potentially leading projects involving less experienced employees.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Comprehensive understanding of financial concepts and processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to present information effectively.
- Capacity to apply professional knowledge independently and accurately process numerical data.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies and address issues proactively or escalate them as necessary.
- Competence in training others and fostering effective relationships within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications | Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree on an exception basis).
  • A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Some experience in project management or leadership may be beneficial.
Preferred Education & Experience

Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of the Master's degree on an exception basis) with five years of financial experience. Licensures and Certifications are not required.
