Bonding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bonding Specialist to join our team at Butler America Aerospace L.L.C. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for bonding various materials and components together to create semi-finished or finished products.

• Bonding of composite, metal, or laminate materials and components
• Laying out articles and cutting parts to size
• Applying liquid or solid bonding agents
• Operating autoclave, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycle
• Controlling conditions of heat, pressure, and timing
• Sanding, burring, and smoothing over areas
• Applying sealing resins to cut or exposed edges
• Monitoring and verifying quality of finished product
• Completing repairs on composite, metal, or laminate bonded products

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials
• Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints
• Ability to work in a team environment
