Job Summary

Epworth Children's Home is seeking a Licensed Clinical Counselor to join our team. As a Licensed Clinical Counselor, you will facilitate therapeutic services in accordance with Epworth Center for Counseling policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to clients and significant others with substance use problems, at-risk behaviors, and/or behavioral needs.
  • Conduct intake, assessment, case management, referral, and intervention services as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work or a license-eligible field.
  • LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPES, LPES-A, LISW-CP, or LMSW licensure in South Carolina.
  • Two years of experience working with children who have therapeutic needs preferred.
  • Ability to pass standard background checks, including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.
  • Belief system and faith practices compatible with the United Methodist Church.
  • Bilingual a plus.
