Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Float Pool team. As an unlicensed assistive person, you will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign measurements and wound care
  • Maintain a safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and equipment
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office
  • Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or Skilled Nursing to float to the Subacute unit
