We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PRN SACET Victim Advocate to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a PRN SACET Victim Advocate, you will provide crisis intervention services to victims of sexual assault, including accompaniment to hospitals, law enforcement interviews, and referrals to community resources.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to 24/7 crisis line and provide crisis counseling to victims of sexual assault
- Accompany SANE to hospitals in 9 counties to provide accompaniment during forensic exams
- Provide linkage to community resources, including clothing and material assistance
- Accompany clients to law enforcement interviews and provide support
- Document all interactions and services provided to clients
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work
- Experience working with victims of sexual assault and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, responding to crisis situations, and providing emotional support to victims of sexual assault. The PRN SACET Victim Advocate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
