Surgical Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our client's surgical team at a leading healthcare facility in the Espanola, NM area.
Key Responsibilities:
As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgery. Your duties will include:
- Providing pre-operative assessments and verifying patient information, including consent and medical history.
- Serving as the primary nurse in the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all required equipment is available.
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation during surgical procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An active RN license in New Mexico.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current ACLS and CPR certifications, with PALS and CNOR certifications preferred.
- Previous experience as a circulator in an operating room setting is highly desirable.
