Audiology Role Overview

Ascension is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for performing audiological and vestibular function testing, developing hearing correction plans of care for patients with audiological impairments, and providing hearing device modifications. You will also educate and counsel patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and continuing care.

Responsibilities

Perform audiological and vestibular function testing to assess patient hearing and vestibular status
Develop, document, implement, and evaluate hearing correction plans of care
Provide hearing device modifications and education to patients and caregivers
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

Doctorate of Audiology (AudD) required
Audiologist credentialed from the Indiana Board of Speech-Language Pathology Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
Temporary Permit obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required, with the requirement to pass boards and obtain Audiologist (AY) credential within 4 months of hire date or job transfer date
