About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
  • Monitor and manage database performance, conducting regular tuning and high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place for critical systems.
  • Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale data processing systems.
  • Build data pipelines to support data integration from various sources, including on-premise systems and cloud platforms like Azure and Snowflake.
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes for efficient data movement and transformation.
  • Plan and execute data migration projects, ensuring data quality and consistency during transitions between systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data migration activities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau.
  • Perform data analysis to support business decisions, providing actionable insights based on trends and patterns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in database administration, data engineering, and reporting roles.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficient in SQL and database management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions and tools.
  • Proven experience working with SQL Server, Azure, and Snowflake.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Qlik Sense or PowerBI.
  • Experience with data migration tools such as Informatica is a plus.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension plan, retirement plan, comprehensive benefits package, tuition reimbursement, benefits effective date of hire, same day pay through daily pay, employee referral program, employee assistance program, employee discounts, paid time off and holidays.
