Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Prepare and position patients for scans, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness, and evaluating images for quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information, and maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education activities, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in CT technology and patient care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and certification maintenance.
  • Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related software, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of patient confidentiality and privacy protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
