We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Seasonal Naturalist. As a Seasonal Naturalist, you will play a key role in delivering educational programs and activities to park visitors and field trip groups, promoting a deeper appreciation and understanding of the natural world.

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of education programs for park visitors and field trip groups.
• Interact with and offer interpretive programs for park visitors in the Education Center and Schramm Park SRA.
• Perform customer service activities, such as answering phones, taking payments, and answering questions.
• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of Education Center facilities and daily animal care.
• Perform related work as required.

• Experience working in a recreational area, scenic attraction or historical setting, retail or customer service setting, agricultural setting, or related coursework/training or experience.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

• Knowledge of Nebraska plant and animal species, natural resources, and outdoor recreation activities.
• Basic science and ecological principles.
• Animal care.

• Education principles and practices.
