Type: Direct Hire
Location: Mt Clemens, MI
Compensation: $90-125k + 10% bonus
Work Schedule: 100% Onsite, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight in industrial hygiene at the Mount Clemens facility.
- Demonstrate proficiency with RC 14001 standards and oversee the audit process.
- Conduct exposure assessments, monitor industrial hygiene, investigate indoor air quality, respond to employee concerns, and implement air monitoring during emergencies, ensuring corrective actions are taken to mitigate exposure risks.
- Collect, analyze, document, and summarize exposure assessment data to meet legal and corporate standards, identifying potential health hazards and evaluating the effectiveness of exposure control measures.
- Develop and maintain standards, procedures, and training programs related to industrial hygiene to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry benchmarks.
- Collaborate with Health Care Services to maintain and enhance exposure-based medical surveillance initiatives.
- Manage and oversee industrial hygiene equipment and related software systems.
- Conduct industrial hygiene audits in accordance with established audit protocols.
- Act as the local subject matter expert on chemical, physical, and biological exposure control, emergency response air monitoring techniques, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and industrial hygiene sampling tools.
- Oversee all Industrial Hygiene programs, including the chemical hygiene plan for R&D laboratories.
- Design and deliver training sessions on various industrial hygiene and health topics for personnel.
- Facilitate thorough incident investigations.
- Review industrial hygiene and health aspects of Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) processes, assisting with chemical inventory management and modifications.
