Job Overview

Veolia is seeking a skilled Operator I to join our team in the water treatment and sludge processing department. As an Operator I, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to purify water to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal, and testing equipment in a refinery/industrial facility.
  2. Learn and independently operate assigned machines and equipment to meet or exceed processing and quality targets.
  3. Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Some experience in a related position and environment preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English (operational, process, safety, and quality instructions).
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
