Job Summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiologic technology and excellent patient care skills.

This is a full-time position working the evening shift with every 3rd weekend and holiday requirement. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing all phases of CT scan testing, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans on hospital in-patients and outpatients in accordance with established procedures and protocols
  • Verify insurance pre-authorization prior to scanning patients
  • Assist in the learning process of students and new staff in department procedures, quality control, and radiation safety
  • Administer contrast media under physician's supervision
  • Assess patients for adverse reactions and changes in patient status

Requirements:

  • ARRT registry in CT Scan required
  • Licensed by State of Delaware on Radiation Protection
  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
