Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Vighter, a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business accredited by the Joint Commission and ISO-9001. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our nation's veterans.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from an accredited university and have at least 2 years of current experience as a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, developing nursing care plans, coordinating with ancillary services, and documenting all plans, assessments, and care provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments on patients and develop nursing care plans based on identified patient needs
  • Coordinate with ancillary services to ensure provision of care
  • Document all plans, assessments, and care provided
  • Provide patient and family education through hospitalization
  • Initiate discharge planning
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment, including oxygen, hypothermia units, and suction apparatus
  • Provide complex and comprehensive nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity and individual differences
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from an accredited university
  • At least 2 years of current experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • U.S. Passport may be used as an I-9 verification document
