Role Summary: The Mowing Crew Leader serves as the primary link between the crew and management. This position requires effective transportation, motivation, and oversight of team members on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of horticultural practices, landscape installation techniques, and the operation of heavy machinery.
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to regularly lift up to 70 pounds.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
- Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Proficient in the safe operation of all landscaping equipment.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
- Effective management of daily team activities.
- Open communication with supervisors regarding team progress.
- Ensuring the availability of necessary resources and materials for daily tasks.
- Competence in horticultural practices and landscape installations.
- Adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Immediate reporting of equipment issues to supervisors.
- Preparation of assigned equipment for daily operations.
- Professional conduct at all times.
- Valid Driver's License is required; experience with truck/trailer or box truck is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a commercial landscaping environment is required. Previous crew leadership experience is essential, and familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus.
