This Position Operates on a Fee for Service Basis

Position Summary:

We are seeking dedicated professionals for Full Time, Part Time, and Fee For Service roles as Substance Abuse Counselors. This clinical role focuses on building therapeutic relationships with clients to promote cognitive and behavioral transformations aimed at enhancing overall client well-being.

Position Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant human services field is preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of clinical experience in a substance use treatment environment. While full certification as an addictions counselor (CADC/CAADC) is preferred, it is not mandatory. A Master's degree and professional licensure or eligibility (e.g., LSW, LCSW, LPC) are also preferred but not required.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake screenings and assessments, providing tailored treatment recommendations based on ASAM level of care evaluations, including referrals to inpatient services, community resources, or other treatments identified through biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, both in-person and through digital platforms.
  • Engage in weekly clinical consultations with the treatment team.
  • Coordinate clinical care with external referral sources.
  • Complete all necessary case management tasks in accordance with company policies and funding requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication across departments, including billing, utilization review, accounting, and clinical teams.
  • Represent the agency professionally within the community.
  • Collect and document co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance payments for submission to the accounting department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.
  • Proficiency in operating computers, fax machines, telephone systems, and video conferencing equipment is essential.
Compensation Structure:

Initial Assessments - $51.50

Individual Sessions - $25.75

Group Session Outpatient (1 hour) - $38.63

Group Session Outpatient (1.5 hours) - $51.50

Group Session Intensive Outpatient (3 hours) - $64.38

Training - $15.45

Administrative Time - $12.88

Supervision - $21.00

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • LPC, LCSW, LSW (Preferred)
