Overview:
As a Residential Instructor at Alternative Services – Connecticut, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a home-based setting. Your expertise and compassion will help create a safe and nurturing environment for our consumers to thrive.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and care to consumers, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement person-centered plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and industry trends.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, education).
- Minimum two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dual diagnosis.
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by our insurance company throughout employment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and physically intervene as needed.

Compensation:
- Salary: $48,000 - $58,000 per year (estimated).
