  • Comply with EPA and OSHA regulations, ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to industry standards.
Requirements:

To succeed as a Diesel Fleet Mechanic at US Foods, Inc., you must possess:

  • A minimum of three years of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or a combination of both.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and drivers.
  • Familiarity with technical manuals, service guides, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing organizational needs.
