Job Summary:

Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Lunchroom / Playground Monitor. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students during lunch and recess periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch and recess periods

• Maintain a safe and clean environment in the lunchroom and playground areas

• Assist with serving meals and snacks to students

• Monitor student behavior and address any disciplinary issues

• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient lunch and recess period

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a school setting with frequent interactions with students, staff, and parents

• May be required to work in a variety of environments, including the lunchroom, playground, and other school areas

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Salary:

$14.27/hour
