About the Role:

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all areas of the warehouse, including aisles, shelves, and equipment.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash cans, recycle bins, and cardboard boxes, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Supply Management: Order and maintain supplies for housekeeping, including cleaning products, paper products, and other necessary items.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment, including sweepers, vacuums, and other cleaning tools.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that all areas of the warehouse are safe and secure, and report any hazards or concerns to management.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Attention to Detail: The ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure that all areas of the warehouse are clean and well-maintained.
  • Physical Ability: The ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time, as well as to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to communicate with colleagues and management.
