Job Overview

The Volume is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial operations and provide strategic guidance to our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare detailed monthly and/or quarterly reports on financial performance, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, as well as timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to support decision-making through financial insights and analysis.
  • Provide analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions by the C-suite.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including investors, accountants, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee financial data integration across company systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics required (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably within startups or high-growth environments
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities

Compensation: Salary range for this role is $250,000 USD. Compensation subject to experience and location.
