Dynamic Music Instructor for Youth

Bach to Rock, a leading music school for students of all ages, seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our team. This part-time position involves teaching private, semi-private, and group lessons using our proprietary curriculum, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have advanced musical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different personalities and learning styles. As a Music Teacher at Bach to Rock, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of musicians.

• Tutor students of various ages and skill levels in music theory and technique
• Develop and maintain a positive, encouraging atmosphere during lessons
• Evaluate students' readiness to participate in ensembles or bands
• Participate in school events and activities
• Maintain equipment as needed

• Demonstrate expertise in music concepts and effectively communicate them to students
• Possess advanced knowledge of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument
• Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on track
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities
• Experienced performer (solo or group)
• Experience working with youth and/or beginners
• Ability to interact effectively with children (ages 3-17) and adults
• Ability to pass a background check

$18-$22 Hourly (rate based on education, experience, expertise, and availability)
