Job OverviewThis entry-level role focuses on supporting the implementation and maintenance of software configuration management processes, ensuring compliance with company standards, and assisting with the management of software build releases.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and be able to assist in generating and distributing software media for customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain control and traceability of software products.
- Support the release process for software builds and updates under supervision.
- Help organize software configuration control board meetings and document proceedings.
- Participate in configuration audits under guidance to ensure adherence to contract requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Some knowledge of software configuration management practices.
- Exposure to the Agile software development lifecycle.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and learn continuous integration/development practices.
- Ability to assist with creating, archiving, and maintaining software builds and releases.
